Pedal Records is a one-of-a-kind cultural initiative empowering the talented crew at Gorillas to express their creativity and passion in music. We are focused on amplifying our artists’ voices and allowing them to reach their personal goals and full creative potential.

By joining Pedal Records, you’ll have a professional team by your side during the release process. We offer support, curation, preparation, planning, and setup. You name it, we’ll be there. In addition, your music will be part of our own playlist universe, release events, and more.

Once your music is reviewed and selected by our Pedal Records A&R team, you’ll benefit from the fundamental experience of our partner, MNF, who is deeply rooted in the music industry.

All global Gorillas’ employees can submit their music to Pedal Records. Once your music is reviewed and picked by our Pedal Records A&R team, you’ll be able to sign a contract with us and release your track/s on all relevant distribution platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music etc.

We have partnered with the music label MNF to make sure that every submission will be listened to by industry professionals, all with long-term experience in the music industry. However, not every submitted track will be released through Pedal Records. You will always receive feedback from our side whether your track is considered to be on board or not. 

If you receive unfavorable feedback about the track you’ve submitted please don’t feel discouraged - we’re always happy to receive your next submission!

Technicalities:

• Music needs to be sent as WAV Files (16bit, 44.1khz) as download links
• Artwork needs to be sent as JPG Files (3000x3000, 300 dpi
• Label copy info should include all data about: Writer, Texter, Publishing Info (If you don’t have a publisher yet please state „copyright control“), Producer & Mastering Info

Yes! - Once your music is reviewed and picked by our Pedal Records A&R team, you’ll be able to sign a contract with us in a matter of weeks. But let's be honest: A record deal now does not automatically mean you’re bathing in champagne tomorrow ;) It provides you with the required legal framework to release your music, and regulates & automates important factors and processes that are tied to the utilization of music (remuneration, advertising, accounting, etc.) 

When your music gets released through Pedal Records you’ll receive an above-industry-standard fixed share (30% of net profits from all gross revenues received directly attributable and solely relating to the exploitation of the Recording after deduction of customary costs and taxes)

Payouts will be done within 90 days after each calendar half-year.
